These are the five monuments you can choose from, and what people tend to love about each one.

Mosque-Cathedral. Construction began in the 8th century and it was extended several times. Its forest of columns with double horseshoe arches amazes even those who have seen it before, and the 16th-century Christian cathedral rises at its centre.

Jewish Quarter. A maze of narrow streets, courtyards and corners such as the Calleja de las Flores. It's the perfect neighbourhood for strolling slowly and taking in the details.

Alcázar of the Christian Monarchs. A 14th-century fortress with towers, halls with Roman mosaics and gardens with ponds that families particularly enjoy.

Medina Azahara. The 10th-century palace city of the Caliphate, on the outskirts of Córdoba and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It requires transport, so it's best to allow more time for it.

Palacio de Viana. A palatial house with twelve courtyards and a garden, perfect for anyone looking for something quieter and away from the busiest routes.

A day of history. The Mosque-Cathedral and the Jewish Quarter in the morning, and the Alcázar after lunch.

How it works.

1. You choose. Select on the calendar the monuments you're interested in and your preferred date and time.

2. You tell us. Let us know how many of you there are, the guide's language and any details we should know: children, reduced mobility or a wish to stop for something to eat.

3. You receive a proposal. We'll reply with the route, the duration and a fixed price, with no extra costs.

4. You confirm. If it suits you, we confirm it and agree on the meeting point.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE REQUESTING YOUR TOUR

Duration

It depends on the monuments you choose. Visiting a single site takes less time; combining several, or including Medina Azahara, needs more. We'll state the duration in the proposal.

Languages and groups

The tour is just for your group and is available in Spanish, English, French, Italian and Portuguese. Let us know your preference when you request it.

Available times

Tell us your preferred day and the start time that suits you best. We'll confirm it based on the availability of the guide and the monuments.

Private tour price

There is no fixed rate. The price depends on the monuments, the duration and the number of people, and we'll send you a fixed price before you confirm anything.

What's included

Includes an official guide.

Monument tickets are not included.

Confirmation is instant and you receive the voucher by email with the key booking details. On the day of the visit, just show it on your phone.

Accessibility

If you're travelling with people with reduced mobility or with pushchairs, let us know when you request the tour so we can plan the route. Some interiors and Medina Azahara have more difficult sections.

Families and pets

The pace is adapted to the group, including when there are children. Pets are not allowed inside the monuments due to their regulations.

Group size

Maximum 30 people per guide under current regulations.

Tick the monuments you're interested in on the form: Alcázar, Jewish Quarter, Mosque-Cathedral, Medina Azahara and Palacio de Viana. You can choose just one or combine several.

CÓRDOBA TAILOR-MADE TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY

You can cancel free of charge up to 72 hours before the tour.

If you cancel between 72 and 24 hours before, we'll refund 50%.

With less than 24 hours' notice, or if you don't show up, there is no refund.

JUST HAVE AN IDEA? WE'LL START FROM THERE

You don't need a finished plan. Tell us which monuments appeal to you, how many of you there are and when you want to come, and we'll prepare the route.

If you're travelling with children or older people, or you'd like to finish near a tapas area, just tell us and we'll take it into account.

You'll receive a proposal with an official guide, an agreed schedule and a fixed price, with no extra costs.

It depends on what you choose. Combining several monuments or including Medina Azahara takes more time. We'll tell you in the proposal.

The guide adjusts the pace and order as things unfold, always within what was agreed in the proposal.

WHAT IF IT'S VERY HOT OR IT RAINS?

We suggest the coolest hours in summer and, if it rains, we propose prioritising indoor visits. We'll discuss it when preparing the proposal.

CAN I ADD STOPS TO EAT OR REST?

Yes, let us know when you request the tour and we'll take it into account when planning the route. Food is not included.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I REQUEST IT?

The sooner the better, especially on high-demand dates. We'll reply with the guide's actual availability.

HOW DO I CANCEL?

Free of charge up to 72 hours before. Between 72 and 24 hours before, a 50% refund. With less than 24 hours' notice or if you don't show up, there is no refund.
