The Capilla Real de Granada holds one of the most important chapters in the city's history following the conquest of 1492. Isabella I of Castile and Ferdinand II of Aragon chose this location to build their mausoleum, commissioned from Enrique Egas in the heart of the historic centre, next to the Cathedral.

On this guided tour you'll enter the monument with an official guide and entrance included to explore the building, its tombs and the crypt where the original coffins of the monarchs are preserved. Here rest the Catholic Monarchs, alongside Joanna I of Castile and Philip I the Handsome.

The tour also includes the sacristy, where part of Queen Isabella's personal collection is preserved. Flemish paintings, jewels, devotional objects and documents help to contextualise the political, religious and artistic significance of this space within Granada's history.

It's a visit to enter the Capilla Real with access already arranged, from the Gothic architecture of the building to the value of the pieces still preserved inside.
